This season, the William & Mary Symphony Orchestra’s executive board members are working overtime, filling our staff member roles as well!
Orchestra Librarian
Haley Gates
Haley is a sophomore with too many interests to declare a major yet. She joined WMSO fall of her freshman year, and it has quickly become her favorite part of campus. Haley has played flute since the sixth grade and has performed with various schools, state ensembles, and youth orchestras across the country. Not like that though – she’s a military kid. When she’s not in rehearsals or locked in a practice room, Haley enjoys studying French, hiking, and painting
Stage Managers
Tyler Siegfried
Tyler is a junior majoring in Physics. He’s been playing trumpet since elementary school and has toured both the United States and Europe as a musician. In his free time he likes messing around with computers and playing bass guitar.
Miranda Husband-Wood
Miranda is a junior from Chesapeake, Virginia majoring in Human Health & Physiology. She’s been playing viola since the 5th grade in both symphonic and chamber orchestras. She’s been involved in WMSO since freshman year and LOVES it. Outside of symphony, you can catch Miranda at club swim, in the piano rooms, or just chilling outdoors.
