Board

The William & Mary Symphony Orchestra Board are members of the orchestra elected to manage the Symphony’s administrative and social functions.

The Board works closely with our director, Dr. Grandis. Our mission is to create a pleasant and inclusive atmosphere for all orchestra members.

Feel free to reach out here with any questions you may have for the board!

President: Anna Del Favero

Gracie is a junior majoring in International Relations and minoring in German Studies. She calls northern Virginia home. Gracie has played viola since the fourth grade with various schools and regional orchestras. Most notably, Gracie played with 9th Street Chamber Music and worked part-time at Fairfax Fine Violins during high school. Gracie has been a member of WMSO since her freshman fall and had the incredible opportunity to travel abroad with WMSO in 2023 to Prague and Vienna. She cherishes all the memories she has made thus far and is excited for more to come. This is Gracie’s first year serving on the executive board, and she is so happy to be working with this fantastic team. Outside of orchestra and academics, Gracie is a W&M club Vox, Planned Parenthood Generation Action board member, works part-time at the Global Research Institute, learns Korean and German, and enjoys working out. Upon graduation, Gracie hopes to attend law school and eventually work for an international non-profit organization or think tank.
